Pass 1 measures, pass 2 writes with correction gain. If the result deviates by more than 0.1 LU from target, an additional refine pass runs automatically. No "approximately".
Inter-sample peak protection with 5 ms lookahead and 50 ms exponential release. Dual-time-constant envelope, no pumping, no distortion on transients.
